The Distinguished Warfare Medal: Although I freely admit service as a Non-Commissioned Officer isn't exactly on the Cabinet level, this makes me scratch my head and say "WTF"? There are several medal, a wide range of medals, for meritorius service in a non-combat role. Plenty of them. So why invent a new one? Every once in a while somebody goes on a medal making spree, and it results in such jokes as The Army Service Ribbon, which means exactly zilch except you've gotten through basic training. This cheapens real medals. All they needed to do was approve a "C" devise to indicate that the medal was for impact on combat operations.
Displays of Patriotism and American Identity are Racist?: In Oxnard California and San Antonio, Texas Students were forced to stop wearing american flag bandanas and chanting USA because it's racist. I'll tell what's racist, the assumption that Hispanics, Asians, Blscks and others are somehow excluded and disrespected by saying "USA". The assumption that a patriotic American hates non-Caucasians is racist, and implies that only Caucasians can be patriotic. That's racist. It's time to stop using the term racist to stop people from saying or doing anything liberal fascists don't like. I think it would be justifiable to sue the teachers and administrators for being racist themselves. This shit has to stop.

The inspectors had never seen or heard of organic peanut butter before, and didn't know what to make of the fact that it separates in the jar. Firearms Companies Strike Back: Magpul, a company that manufactures magazines for m16 series rifles, and AR15 series rifles, informed their workers, the legislators of Colorado and the public that if Colorado passes it's 30 round magazine ban, they will leave the state, taking round 1000 jobs and all the tax revenue those jobs generate with them. They insured the lawmakers that they can do so without interrupting production, at that. (They sell a lot of Magazines to the Army and Marine Corps, BTW--with an NSN!) likewise, Olympic Arms has just informed the State of Illinois that they will do no business with them if they pass their proposed gun legislation. Olympic Arms is a major supplier of Law Enforcement equipment and weapons, to include some items available no where else. LaRue Tactical and Barret firearms are refusing to do business with law enforcement agencies in states that prohibit their Non-NFA products to be sold to civilians. Gun makers in Maryland have said they will relocate, or even shut down. since some of these are Defense department suppliers of standardized weapons, and hold the patents/licensees for these weapons we see potential for real civil disobedience. It's about time--we need to fight back against those who just seem to think the 2d amendment, or the rest of the Bill of Rights doesn't count anymore. Why we've put up with this so long baffles me.

They were 'celebrating" the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI. Seriously, do think that the next pope will come out and say it's OK to have Gay Sex? Do they actually think he'll start ordaining women? Perhaps they think that since he's male he'll be mesmerized by their nipples and their bidding? They have no idea of what the Papacy is, what the Church is, or what an "irreformable moral teaching" is. They remind me of toddlers throwing a fit over something they don't even comprehend. I'm sick of their exhibitionistic lesbian breast fetish, and I'm even sicker of how every news report says theyprotest against corruption and for pro-democracy. NAACP gets caught, sues: The Radiance Foundation uncovered and exposed the ties between the NAACP and Planned Parenthood. (Right now, 50% of pregnancies among African American Women end in abortion.) The Radiance Foundation used the phrase "National Association for the Abortion of Colored People--a satirical usage protected by legal precedent. The NAACP sued. Radiance counter sued, and there the matter sits. The problem isn't the usage--it the exposure. Among many blacks the high abortion rate is a matter of concern. Jesse Jackson used to rail at it. (Then he sold out to the Democratic Party and changed his tune). The "Progressive Consensus" (Thanks LTC Kratman--useful way to describe it!) hates exposure of the back room deals and ties, and is not above using legla intimidation, the threat of court action and mob action-- as well as calumny, down shouting and lies--to shut whistle blowers up.
March 15, the Southern Defense Grid Gets Shut Off: Well, that's no secret. It was supposed to be, but it got out. Admittedly, It's unlikely that the Venezuelan Air Force can fly up and pay us a visit. But it's the same grid that provides radar coverage for drug interdiction and border security (The Border Patrol has already been ordered to pull back 50 miles.....). Remember all those drug cartels Obama armed through the gun walker program? Yeah those guys, but it gets worse. In the last week or so, one guy got sentenced to ten years for smuggling an Islamic Terrorist across the Mexican border (but strange, last week I could find the story, this week, it's disappeared.) . Now lets ramp this up. ABC 10 News in San Diego is reporting that Hezbollah has set up a training/staging area Mexico, and have been for 10 to 20 years. Hamas is already documented as being there. Sleep tight America, Obama just got rid of the people who keep these murderous scum out. I think Obama is a treasonist, with this sort of thing.

Well, I agree on all these and a couple or um 43 more. I saw somewhere that google shut down something,site?..to do with this. Oh yeh sunlit uplands linked it.I'll go back and read it. But in our free speech country there are other -absolute no no things just not to be said-. This is how it evolves,to Self-Censorship.
