TRIUMPHALIST--YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT?

TRIUMPHALIST--YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT? I believe that the Catholic Church was founded by Christ, on his Apostles, especially Peter, the first Pope. I believe in the teachings of the Ecumenical councils, I revere the Fathers of the Church, and I am an unapologetic Ultramontane Catholic. If you don't like it, too bad.

GET BUSY!

I LOVE MY GERMAN SHEPHERD!

By now all of us have heard the startling news that the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI is resigning due to age and health, saying he hasn't the energy to perform his duties.

His Holiness has been my favorite Pope during my lifetime, a positive hand upon the tiller, steering the Barque of Peter.  By the end of this month, he won't be there.

Our job now, and it's a job as important a that of the Cardinal Electors, is to pray earnestly for the HOly Spirit to move the Cardinals to Elect for us another strong, brilliant Pope, and reformer, a man who will clean up the remaining messes caused by the weak pontificate after the Council and the will disobedience of the Magisterium by so many Bishops, Priests, Deacons, Religious and Laity.

If you  were going to give up something for Lent, give up two somethings--one for the conclave.

If we do not support the conclave with prayers, if we do not ardently ask for God to give us a good Pope, wecould end up with another Borgia, or even revert tot he 9th century irrelevancy of the Holy Father.

Let's do our Part.

The Holy Spirit has never erred in Choosing the Right Pope for the Age in which he was to serve. (And even the sinners served well)

I am sure the Paraclete will choose the Pope best for this age.

Unless we end up with an Anti-Pope--it's happened before.
