...and in no mode to intellectualize or engage in subtlety. So here's today's post, take it or leave it.
Our Fascist Regime: Catchy header, eh? But in very many ways it's true. In the 30s the Third Reich managed to enforce the laws in such a way that their likely supporters got away with crimes, even murder, without a problem. Well, it's the accepted wisdom that immigrants vote Democrat, and the Regime panders to them in some very unfortunate ways. One of the ways is to simply not deport them when they are arrested. This includes illegal immigrants. The Regime "declined" to deport 159,286 immigrants, legal and illegal, who were arrested on non-immigration charges. 60,000 of them were subsequently charged with other crimes, and these included 142 sex crimes, 3 attempted murders and 19 murders (apparently, these immigrants don't mess around when they decide to kill someone.)
Not only that, but a Federal Court in Washington DC ruled that Obama appointees in fact did interfere in the prosecution of the New Black PantherParty Members for voter intimidation. You might remember this case--in 2008 NBPP members, in paramilitary uniform were filmed using clubs to intimidate voters who they thought might vote Republican and drove them away from the polls. They were convicted of intimidation, and appealed. in 2009, when Eric Holder became attorney General, the charges were dropped. After all this time, through Freedom of Information Act requests that had to be backed by lawsuits, it comes to light that despite the assertions to he contrary--the lies--of DOJ and the Regime, the decision was not made by the professional elements in the Attorney General's Office, but by political appointees.
OK--you have a uniformed paramilitary intimidating through threat of violence voters who might oppose their chosen one. Anyone besides me remember the Sturm Abteilung? And even though I am tired of people screaming "Raaaaciiiissst" with every breath, I am also aware that this political party is based on race, was working in support of a candidate of their preferred race, and the AGO is headed up by a man of the same race. I don't think the racism is on the part of white Republicans.
Sodomites: Straight up, I don't really care who you sleep with, or hook up with, or even diddle in back of a bar. It's not my concern, it's yours, and if you want to commit sodomy and endanger your immortal soul--not to mention your health--you can do that. But I'm damned tired of being told it's OK, and I have to accept it. I don't have to accept anything, anymore than sodomites have to accept my moral standards. Unfortunately, mere tolerance doesn't seem to be on the books. in 1987, Guide--a magazine for sodomites--published an article that laid out a stagey for getting Americans to accept homosexuality as normal, and this was expanded into a book called After the Ball: How America willConquor it's Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 1990s. you can read a reprint of the the article at www.americansfortruth.com dated July 7th. It was sound blueprint, and they've followed it well. Unfortunately, they don't extend the same to us. For instance, Dr. Keith Ablow is a psychiatrist who occasionally works with Fox News as a medical expert to be consulted on various stories. He has said that when he speaks about homosexuality he is afraid. he hesitates to say or write anything that sodomites might find objectionable due to the threats of death and violence he receives. All you have to do is remember the aftermath of Proposition 8 in California, with mob actions, extortion, vandalism and threats being widespread and well documented (although under reported). Any one besides me remember the restaurant manager who donated $50 to the campaign to oppose Prop 8 whose place of employment was besieged by outraged sodomites, and which had to give $5000 dollars to "Gay Activism" to get them to call off their mob action so the restaurant wouldn't go broke? The sodomites rant at great length about hate, yet they are the ones who are haters. Far from being victims, they are now bullies. Recent instances of anti-gay violence have beenwell reported, gay violence is not. We are being bullied by perverts who cannot control their own genitalia, yet who want to control our culture.
The Chik-Fil-A bra-ha-ha is a case in point. When it was simply people calling for a boycott, I was fine with that. The CEO of the company had the right to say what ever he wanted, and to donate where ever he wanted, and people who didn't like it had the right to not patronize the business. But now that the Boston, Chicago and Philadelphia city governments have gotten involved, it's gone from activism to fascist coercion. Face it, when a group as liberal as the ACLU pipes up to defend conservative thought, the sodomites have gone to far. In the words of the National Association of Evangelicals: "If Chik-Fil-A is not welcome for embracing traditional marriage, then are Chicago Mayor Emanuel and others saying that evangelicals, Catholics and Mormons aren't welcome either?" BTW--Mike Huckabee is calling on people to support Chik-Fil-A by eating there tomorrow, August First. I know what I"m having for lunch!
Religious Sisters and Bogus Journalism: In regards to the unfaithful and heretical nuns the press loves so much, I would like to quote, then rip The New York Times. They said The sisters have been caught in the riptide. Most of them have spent their lives serving the sick, the poor, children and immigrants--and not engaged in battles over theology. I cannot speak to universal experience, so I won't. I'll just say that in my life as a Catholic, since 1975, I haven't met many religious sisters who were engaged in direct service to any of these groups, and the ones I have were not affiliated with the LCWR. Those actually in service to these groups have been, in my experience, affiliated with the CMSWR. The others were engaged in community organizing, "advocacy" and other such amorphous substitutes for a real Christian apostolate. I also haven't met very many sisters from groups affiliated with the LCWR who weren't intensely and vocally involved with theological battles, invariably on the side of modernist, morally relative, sodomy and fornication friendly collectivist politics and the ordination of women. The Gospel was way down on the list. Worst of all, the press ignores completely that the problems between the LCWR and the Vatican are not directed at religious sisters in general, or the communities of sisters affiliated with the LCWR, but with that organization alone. The idea of a war between Religious Sisters and Bishops over "rights" is more appealing to them than the idea of a politically motivated umbrella group being brought to heel.
By By, Troutman: My second least favorite Bishop in the US is going by-by. Good. And, high time. Monsignor Lawrence Persico has been chosen to succeed Donald Troutman as the Bishop of Erie PA. I hope, that Bishop Elect Persico, as a canon lawyer, sees fit to slam the Erie Benedictines, and to straighten out the modernist, lavender mess that is the Diocese of Erie. I don't know anything about this guy, but he can hardly be worse, unless he's the secret twin of Gumbleton.
