TRIUMPHALIST--YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT? I believe that the Catholic Church was founded by Christ, on his Apostles, especially Peter, the first Pope. I believe in the teachings of the Ecumenical councils, I revere the Fathers of the Church, and I am an unapologetic Ultramontane Catholic. If you don't like it, too bad.

Just my opinion, the reasons the Kent State shootings are not discussed are: (1) If a popular narrative that states the trigger happy lackeys of The Man cheerfully shot down innocent young adults is believed, we have a case where We The People might need our guns in defense against government agents. (2) If another less popular (but probably more truthful) narrative is to be believed, we have a case where highly untrained and green troops were sent into a hostile territory where they were goaded into opening fire on agitating troublemakers. This presents an instance where the use of firearms is a legitimate defense against civilian troublemakers. If they'll take on an armed force from the government they'll likely go for you and I, therefore we should be armed.
In either scenario the right to bear arms can be justified. Just my two cents.
Check out Yahoo. I hate the little news clips, but my eyes caught sight of a clip about a letter written by a child related to a victim of the CT shooting written to Obama in which he or she writes that only law enforcement should have guns. I'm sorry, but this is sick--using grieving little kids as fodder for a political agenda. And don't no body try and tell me that Yahoo isn't as liberal as they come. I wish I didn't have three accounts there...I'm seriously considering shutting them all down to avoid the liberal propaganda plastered all over the place that I simply cannot bypass even if I only want to check my email.
Can anyone give me some tips for one day having a firearm for protection even though I'm renting a room at an apartment? Surely there is a way to hide it so that no one knows about it!!! I just want some security. Especially if protection is going to be hard to come by, especially if the world is going to hell and especially, especially (yes I meant to type that twice) if Catholics are looking at some serious persecution in the near future. '
