I am at this point so counter cultural that I feel profound distaste for the press, politicians, the government, contemporary American society, celebrities, the internet and most foods and luxuries.

Isn't there a lot of freedom in what you're feeling?
I feel so much better if I don't look at decorating magazines and stay away from the mall.
