The Diocese of Salt Lake has appointed Jean Welch Hill as it's Director of Peace and Justice Commission, and tasked her with explaining how a Catholic should vote according to their faith. Unfortunately, Ms Hill was a politician before she was a diocesan apparatchik, and she ran for Utah Attorney General with the backing of Planned Parenthood! She opposes a ban on abortion and theprovision of "accurate" birth control education in the schools.
Her approach is to confuse the faithful by listing the Church's position on abortion along side it's positions on social justice issues, and telling people they have to choose which candidate meets the morality test best. This ignores the Hierarchy of Truth--which does not mean somethings are "more true" than others, but that some truths are more important to others. The quest for justice presumes that someone is alive to receive justice. Murder, legalized, institutionalized murder is a higher priority to be corrected than minimum wage laws for migrants. But this evil woman has conflated them as equally important.
Straight up--this is like saying that when faced with voting for Nazi's, the social programs of low and interest free loans for working families they sponsored is as important as the Concentration Camps. Actually, it may be worse, because those demonic state and race idolators killed eight million in the camps, and we've killen man, many more than that in clinics.
Yeah, there is a Satanic Fifth Column in Salt Lake, we can see it. You can also contact the local bishop there, and let him know that this is adiservice--and injustice --to all the faithful by writing to:
The Most Reverend John Charles Wester
Bishop of Salt lake City
27 C Street
Salt Lake City, Utah 84103
His e-mail is bishop.office@dioslc.org
His office phone is 801-328-8641 ex 304
You can call toll free from inside Utah at 1-888-414-8641 ex 304
BTW, I got all this off of the Diocesan website. Also, if you do call, point out that his spokesmonster is omitting the notion of the Hierarchy of Truth and the Moral Hierarchy to obscure Catholic teaching. A note to the Apostolic Nuncio wouldn't be amiss, either.

So did you screen print the page on their website before it's scrubbed?
Nope--don't know how.
Bring up the screen in question, center the part that you want to copy and hit screen print. Then you can paste to Word. I'm sure there are way more sophisticated ways to do this but that's the one I use.
This is my diocese and this is just the tip of the iceberg. The bishop uses all the diocesan machinery to push his political, left-wing agenda. (That is when he isn't gone, which is most of the time.) If it isn't immigration or ministry to the Spanish speaking, it isn't one of his priorities.
Out and proud homosexual priest? The matter is hushed up and he is reappointed to the diocesan consultors.
Catholic High School presents "Rent"? Slap on the wrist and all the personnel stay in place.
Papal knighthood for Ms. Hill's predecessor in turn the diocesan legislative office into a shill for the Democratic Party.
No word of guidance during the 2008 election and absolute silence on Obamacare.
Vocations? Not many.
Pretty much tired of our diocese being used as a farm-team by the liberal Californians.
