The President has said that the best thing to do to fix our electoral process is to stop watching CNN, Fox News, and reading blogs. After being prodded he threw in every thing that reports the news.
So, according to Obama, the best way to run America is for the Electorate to have no information about things other than what Congress and the Executive say.
And people wonder why he scares me.
TRIUMPHALIST--YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT?
TRIUMPHALIST--YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT? I believe that the Catholic Church was founded by Christ, on his Apostles, especially Peter, the first Pope. I believe in the teachings of the Ecumenical councils, I revere the Fathers of the Church, and I am an unapologetic Ultramontane Catholic. If you don't like it, too bad.

The State of My Autobiography
Well, it works like this: I looked at the poll results, the comments and the advice of my main person (The Queen of the House) and started with a pencil.
And that led me to reflect on the nature of penance and conversion.
Which led me to to consider my life and lifeways.
Which in turn led to an interesting question: have I repented at all? Have I converted? An I really a Catholic, or just someone who says the right things while continuing to be in thrall to my own cucupiscience.
All in all, it seems mostly to be me looking at the graces I have been given, the forgivness I have been shown, and realizing that I have so much further to go. It makes me feel like a heel.
Actually, it makes me feel like a certain class of Private we had in the Army--the ones we refered to as "tent pegs". The other folks who drop by here who spent time in the military as NCOs and POs will know what I'm talking about.
