To Those Dear Rappers...
HARSH AND OBSCENE LANGUAGE WARNING!!!!
who were hanging out at the Bus Stop on the Corner of 4th and Market in Louisville today at just after 12 noon:
SHUT THE HELL UP!
It wasn't cute, and it wasn't an exposition of any viable subculture to hear you rapping about how "If my girl don't fuck me good, I can find a Bitch who will". What's worse is the leering way you changed the lyrics when women on their lunch hours went by to get something to eat, rapping "Maybe a Down Town White Bitch who's ready for some good dick".
Guys--that's not art. It's being deliberately offensive. It's also racist, and an attempt to intimidate women as a way of oppressing them because they are white, and of a different social class. it's also cowardly--especially the way you moved off when one of Louisville's finest rounded the corner in their car.
Oh yeah--pull up your pants, too.

Maurice Schwenkler plead guilty to smashing the widows of a Democratic Party HQ in Colorado.
No big deal, Schwenkler is an Anarchist activist. They do these things.
What I like though, is that the Dems tried to blame the vandalism on Republicans.
The Dems--never passing up the chance to slam an opponent, rather than the opponenets ideas. Sort of like the reporting of "Violence Mars Tea Party Demonstration", or "Violence Disrupts Town Hall Meeting" which avoided mentioning that the violence was committed by Dems who were attempting to stiffle dissenting views.
I'm ashamed that I ever voted Democrat--they are becomming the new masters of disinformation.

Major General Antony Cuculo is in hot water for saying that female soldiers deployed to Iraq who become pregnant will be subject to disciplinary action.
At first sight this may seem to be an incursion of the Culture of Death into the Military, but it's a good bit murkier than that.
It's a long accepted piece of military law and policy that injuring oneself, which removes one from combat, is a punishable offense. And there are many reports of female soldiers becoming pregnant to get out of the Sand Box. Quit simply, MG Cuculo is trying to stem a form of unlawful combat avoidance. More over, he is on record as disciplining the male soldiers who are fathering the children as well as the female soldiers.
Evidently though, some politicians believe that it is simply too much to ask of soldiers to keep their legs crossed and their pants zipped in a combat zone. Further, they seem to ignore the regulations and articles of the UCMJ that prevent fraternization (and the UCMJ was passed by Congress). For that matter, they seem to be disregarding the articles against conduct prejudicial to efficiency and discipline.
Of course, there are those who will say no women will get pregnant just to avoid duty they dislike. Too bad for those folks--I've seen it occur. I've even seen women take their discharge for being pregnant and then have an abortion.
If you have women soldiers, then they need to be subject to the same rules as male soldiers, and not be given a sort of reverse catch 22 that lets them avoid combat assignments. Or maybe just allow them to be removed from an active theater, but take the dad with them. Then discharge them both with no benefits.
